Carrot Top at Luxor

The use of props in comedy isn't a new concept, but Carrot Top's act doesn't just incorporate props, it revolves around them. At the beginning of his climb to stardom, Carrot Top (a.k.a., Scott Thompson) stored his props in two trunks, but that number has since grown to 35. He writes all of his own material and creates all of his props the likes of which no comedian can match. The loud music, lasers, fog machines and flame canons are all a delightful addition to his show at the Luxor, but the real attraction are his props. Just a few treasures tucked away in his myriad trunks include a Whitney Houston microphone with a bong and a Dick Cheney "Operation" game and a Dr. Kevorkian bath toy that consists of a rubber duck attached to an electrical cord.
