Jimi Hendrix Tribute

The era of Woodstock has long since past, but the music of Jimi Hendrix is still being celebrated by both fans and fellow musicians alike. In its fourth iteration, The Experience Hendrix Tribute Tour is a biennial concert that focuses on music both written and inspired by Jimi Hendrix, who is considered by many to be one of the greatest musicians of his time. The all-star lineup of musicians who will be onstage at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s The Joint include, Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Brad Whitford, Living Colour and Billy Cox. Music will be taken from several of Hendrix’s albums including Valleys of Neptune and Are You Experienced. And here’s a fun factoid for you—Cox and Hendrix became friends when they were in the 101st Airborne Division of the Army together (bet you didn’t see that one coming).
