Randy Travis Plays Las Vegas

Country music fans are champing at the bit to see Randy Travis’ one-night appearance at the Monte Carlo Theatre. Sure, the 10-gallon hat and tight jeans are part of his appeal, but based on his massive record sales, he might have some talent as well. Travis is considered one of the biggest country male record-selling artists of all time having earned 13 gold albums, 8 platinum, one double platinum and one triple platinum. He will be performing hits from such albums as Around The Bend, Songs of the Season, Glory Train, Storms of Life and Always & Forever. His vocal finesse has won him numerous awards including six Grammys, nine from the Academy of Country Music, 10 American Music Awards, two People’s Choice awards—the list goes on and on. Also, three of Travis’ performances won Country Music Award’s Song of the Year honors: “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”
