Frank Caliendo has started his regular performances at Monte Carlo Las Vegas. The comedian and impressionist is best known for his work on the MADtv and his own show, Frank TV, his sketch show which ran on TBS, and his DVD All Over the Place. You may remember his impressions of NFL color commentator John Madden and United States Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. He has toured across the country, and is a regular performar on the late night talk show circuit, performing regularly on David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan O’Brien and Craig Ferguson.
Caliendo’s new show at Monte Carlo is a mix of comedy and impressions and incorporates live music, video sketches and more. He has signed a 10-year deal to perform on the Strip, so expect to see his name associated with Las Vegas for some time.
“I’m excited to call Monte Carlo my new home,” said Caliendo. “This is Vegas, so this show is going to be bigger and have a higher production value than traditional stand up. I’ve got a live band, we’ll have video segments and maybe even some guest appearances. It’s going to have all of the excitement of a TV show but it will be live on-stage and no two shows will be exactly alike.”
Frank performs Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:30 p.m. in the Lance Burton Theater. Ticket prices range from $48.64 to $81.36, and are available at Monte Carlo’s website.
