Justin Timberlake Charity Golf Tournament in Las vegas

There is yet another altruist on the list of stars using fame for the greater good (it’s about bloody time). Grammy- and Emmy-award winning musician and sometimes actor, Justin Timberlake, is hosting a golf tournament to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children, October 12-18 in Las Vegas. The golf tournament will take place at TPC Summerlin, ranked one of the “Top 100 Modern Golf Courses in the United States” and one of America’s best golf courses by Golf Digest. The week-long event includes practice rounds, the championship game, professional competition rounds, military appreciation day, a visit to the Kids’ Clinic and an Evening with Justin Timberlake and Friends at Mandalay Bay on October 17. Timberlake will be the main act, but those under the “Friends” umbrella include Alicia Keyes, Taylor Swift and TLC, a rap group that is re-emerging from the archives.

Concert Tickets

Ticket prices range from $100-$250 and will be available at all Tickemaster locations and select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers, and Ritmo Latino. They also can be purchased through Ticketmaster’s Web site, www.ticketmaster.com.
