Comedian, Lily Tomlin, will be performing “Not Playing with a Full Deck†nightly at the MGM Grand Nov. 10-18. Most associate Tomlin with the role of Ernestine, the irascible phone operator, on the comedy series Laugh In. But that role was only the beginning for what would become a long and illustrious career of brilliant acting and comedic performances. In addition to two Emmy awards, Tomlin also has won two Tony awards for Broadway performances in “Appearing Nightly†and “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universeâ€; a Grammy award for her comedic album “This is a Recordingâ€; two Peabody awards for Edith Ann’s animated special “Just say Noel†and the HBO documentary “The Celluloid Closetâ€; and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2003.
Ticket prices are $50, $70 and $150 for Golden Circle tickets, which are the Grand Poo-bah of Tomlin tickets. Those holding the golden ticket have the opportunity to meet Tomlin and have a photo taken with her as well—a small price to pay for bragging rights and the documentation to back it up. Join the “Not Playing with a Full Deck†VIP club for special seating in the Joker section.
