Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, in conjunction with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME), is launching a live, 10-week broadcast of “America’s Got Talent.” Beginning Oct. 7, the production will take place in Planet Hollywood’s 1300-seat CHI Showroom every Wednesday–Sunday at 7 p.m. In its fourth season, this program is still one of the highest-rated television shows in its time slot having earned the No. 1 ranking of the summer in both overall viewers and the 18-49 demographic. Both FME and Simon Cowell’s Syco TV produce the show, though guests most likely will not have the dubious pleasure of an up-close and personal Cowell experience. One upside is that guests will still experience the show as though it were happening in Hollywood and, given the small venue, be close to special celebrity guests.
