The former Brew Pub in the Monte Carlo is reopening on Sept. 2 as The Pub just in time for the 2009-2010 football season. In addition to a more contemporary makeover, the former Brew Pub will feature a new menu with an emphasis on the carnivorous bar-goers most favorite meal—burgers. Meat-loving patrons have the option of building their own burger from 30 different ingredients or choosing from 15 specialty burgers. But it’s not all about the meat—a wide assortment of appetizers, salads, spiked milkshakes and specialty flatbreads are on the menu as well. Also, more than 50 beers from around the world will be on tap, including ales, lagers and stouts. Patrons have the option of playing beer pong, watching sporting events or banging heads while listening to the musical stylings of Zowie Bowie, which performs every Friday and Saturday night. The Pub opens at 11 a.m. daily; and patrons must be 21 years or older after 10 p.m.
